Lures I'm Currently Using.
Below are the main lures I'm using in 2026. I will also be trying a few others throughout the year.
Surface Lures 2026.
Fishus Espetit 95mm.
The Fishus Espetit is the ultimate bass lure designed for top water fishing! It's perfect for long, precise casts and performs a deadly walk-the-dog action.
The colours I'm using include White N Flash, Flashy Shad, Hot Belly Glass, Mullet, and Hot Black, with a weight of 10.5g.

Bassluresuk Small Surface 100mm.
This lure is most effective when retrieved using the 'walk the dog' technique. You need to gently tap the rod tip while winding it to make the lure snake along the surface, mimicking a distressed fish.
The colours I'm utilizing are 500g II, Black Dot II, and Purple Sprat, with a weight of 11g.

Small Surface Dog Bass Lure 95mm.
These lures cast so well and most of them have added flash plates in them. Their size and weight are perfect to attract bass. Used on the surface with slow or quick twitches with the end of your rod tip. Sitting lovely in the water, the bellies expose that flash plate underwater. The best method is to cast and wait 10 seconds before you start working it in "Walk the Dog".
The sizes I'm using are 95mm - 15g & 70mm - 8g in colours Silver Flash, 500g & White.

Sinking Lures 2026.
Bassluresuk Shallow Diving 1m 105mm.
This 17g lure is designed for saltwater fishing and is ideal for catching sea bass. It has a maximum diving depth of 1m and features neutral buoyancy, making this fish-shaped lure highly attractive to fish.
The colour I'm using is Bora 17g.

Spearhead Ryuki 110S.
The Duo Spearhead Ryuki 110S, with its flat heavy body, creates a sharp action response for the heavyweight sinking minnow.
The semi-long lip allows the Duo Spearhead Ryuki 110S to grip the water, and its flat-sided body with low center of gravity fixed weight settings equips the lure with a high level of swimming performance in the strong flow of the mainstream. Its action initiation is prompt and can handle consecutive twitching through the rod.
The Duo Spearhead Ryuki is 21g in the colour Half Mirror Ayu.

Duo Tide Minnow Lance 110S.
The Tide Minnow Lance 110S comes with one basic objective in mind: long-distance performance and brilliant baitfish action. It features superior casting distance, and the Tide Minnow Lance effectively mimics baitfish action.
The lure has four tungsten weights (one fixed and three moving) built into the body to help the lure maintain its balance. This 11 cm sinking lure can be used between 0.3 m and 1 m. It is perfect for early in the season and generally when the fish are concentrating on small prey.
I am using the Real Lance colour in 14 g.

Sandeel Lures 2026.
BLUK Sandeel Bass Lures.
The BLUK Sandeels lovey action in the water and through the rod tip. The bodies are nice and soft and when glued to the head they will withstand multiple hits from bass.
They come in two different sizes, 110 mm 17 g: Main packs 1 head & 2 bodies and 140 mm 27 g : Main packs 1 head & 2 bodies. They come in 6 different colours and spare heads can also be bought too.
I am using the 110 mm in colours Natural, Snow White and Purple colours.

Ebbrox Rennaissance V2.
The Lazy Lures Renaissance eels have been designed to imitate a Sandeel for Bass fishing in the UK. With its segmented body it has a swimming action, not like anything else on the market
These are the V2.0 Lazy Lures Renaissance eel variation and they come in 2 different sizes, a 10cm / 16g and a 13cm / 26g variation. With a choice of 10 different colours. Thy come rigged to clip on and fish. The Lazy Lures Renaissance eels a great for Bass, and also Pollock and Cod.

Westin Sandy Andy Weedless.
Sandy Andy is an ultra-realistic sandeel. This weedless version has been specially designed for bass. This slim and weedless lure offers you a lot. Fish it from the shore with a steady retrieve.
The slim body and small paddle tail work at any speed, creating a strike-triggering swimming action. The realistic details of these lures are made to fool bass into believing they are hunting a real eel.
I am using 16g & 23g versions in the colours: Real Sandeel, Tobis Ammo, Snow White & Pearlescent.

Creature Bait Lures 2026.
Bass Lures UK 3" Weighted Craw.
The 3” weighted craws are available for individual sale and each contains a weight of (18g). They feature a hook concealed within the body.
These lure types have proven to be highly effective during the winter months when bass are low and actively searching for crabs. A straightforward retrieve/pause technique has yielded some fantastic catches of bass.
The colours I'm employing include Deep Red, Forest Green, Root Beer & Natural.

Soft Plastic Lures 2026.
Handmade Cornish Snax Bass Lure Sets.
These lures imitate a squid slowly gliding through the water waiting to be attacked by a Bass. These are handmade by us using super soft plastisol making the feel of these very life-like. The 5" bodies are thicker than similar lures, but the 4.5" are similar. These have an advantage over other Snax on the market as these have a hook slot that enables a hook to be rigged and fished fully weedless without the hook sticking out. We include a scent to them to improve your catch rate.
Technique: Cast them out, count to 10 or a decent depth where you are fishing and start winding - just a slow steady retrieve, about one turn every couple of seconds.
Sold in packs of 5 with a twist-lock hook. And a wide range of colours. I am using the Chartreuse Sparkles, Root Beer & Pearl White colours.

Handmade Cornish Shads Bass Lure Sets.
These handmade shads work exceptionally well dragged along the bottom of a seabed or an estuary with a weighted weedless hook. These can also be used in a higher column of water if there are small baitfish around. The lure has a perfectly rounded tail to ensure that “the thump” on the tail part of the lure is really effective especially while shipping along a seabed kicking up the ground typically like a rockling or goby.
These lures are 4.5” in length and come with a hook (included) they weigh:Weighted Hook 15g or Weightless Hook 11g.
They come in a wide range or colours. I am using the Root Beer @ White Colours.
