My Other Tackle.

My Chest Pack/Rucksack.

I recently converted to a chest pack/rucksack combination for my fishing. The Sakura Chest Pack Pro has a chest pack in the front to carry lures and my other tackle for a session. On the rear, it has a small rucksack which I can use to carry my drone or other items that I need to take with me.

My Pliers.

I have recently been testing the Tailwalk Dino Skeleton Pliers and I am quite impressed with their performance.

My Braid.

I am utilizing the Shimano Kairiki Braid on both of my reels. I have chosen the 14lb, 18lb, and 22 lb breaking strains. This braid offers great value for the price.

My Fluorocarbon.

I've started using YGK Nitron DFC Fluorocarbon leader based on a recommendation I received.

My Line Clips.

I rely on the BKK Fast Snaps for my Lure Clips. I wouldn’t choose any other options at this point.

My Waders.

I am using the Kinetic X5 waist waders since I don't require chest waders. They are excellent waders.

My Wading Boots.

I am currently utilizing the Bestard Search and Rescue wading boots. They are an excellent choice of footwear.

My Landing Net.

I am using the Westin W3 C&R Floating Landing net. It is a lightweight folding net, which is attached to my rucksack with a pull magnet system. With a quick pull and flick, the net can be ready to land any bass if needed.

My Fishing Apps.

I have made my own app for logging my catches using Google Forms. I have created a list of questions relevant to my catches. After all details have been submitted, you can view all entries displayed on pie charts; this gives you a breakdown of what is working in your fishing. At the end of the year, you can save all the information for future reference. I am currently testing this at the moment and hopefully will be able to create a template for others to use in the future.

Other beneficial apps to consider include Nautide, an informative app for tides and weather, and XCWeather, which offers excellent weather forecasts for your area. Additionally, Google Earth is useful for locating specific spots; while the website version is more effective, it's still convenient to have the app on your phone for pinpointing locations.
