The Kernow Bass Facebook Page.

Hi Everyone, recently I made the decision to localize the Kernow Bass Facebook group to Cornwall & Devon for any new members joining the group. The reason for this is so I can hopefully provide content for these areas, as I feel being a group would be more suited to doing it this way. Another reason is that I am finding it hard to get people to visit my website. So I have created a Kernow Bass Facebook group where people can follow me without having to join the group.

By using the page as my main channel for my content and sharing other useful content there too, I hope to build a good following of anglers over time, who will then view my content of blogs, reviews, and other content I produce. I will still be sharing the same content to my group, but I can use content in reverse if suitable to share with the page.

Also, other anglers from different parts of the UK can follow the page, but they would not be able to join the group going forward. Having a KB Page is also another direction, more for a brand or business, where your followers can see what is happening, in my case, my website. I’m hoping this will help in the direction of the website, with more traffic to view, hopefully leading to more blogs and reviews in the future. Hopefully, anyone who is not in the KB group in the future will follow the page instead and grow much faster than a group, leading to the growth of both the page and website. Having both, I can share content to both and continue what I have been doing.

The website I am happy with; I think the foundation is good, and things will be added, such as new blogs and reviews. The first newsletter launched at the beginning of October, and as I suspected, it was a slow uptake and will take time to grow.

I have really struggled for fishing time this year, feeling unwell for a few months. However, having the Kernow Bass Group, website, and now the Page has kept me going, and the support I have received from everyone has been amazing. Come and Follow me there. Link to page Here.
